Work in Progress — Singing Truth to Power: Listening to Paredon Records

The story behind the record label founded by Barbara Dane and Irwin Silber. From 1970 to 1985, Dane, Silber, and their collaborators released fifty albums that documented protest music from around the world. The roster of the label's musicians includes some of the most important politically-minded singers and songwriters: Mikis Theodorakis, Leon Rosselson, Pete Seeger, Pablo Milanes, Chris Iijima, Suni Paz, and many more.
